Nova ENT Hospital Launches Free Children’s ENT Wellness Week in Hyderabad

Nova ENT Hospital, located at Erramanzil, Hyderabad, has launched a “Children’s ENT Wellness Week” from November 9 to 16, focusing on promoting awareness and early detection of ENT-related issues among children. The wellness camp was formally inaugurated by Dr. M. Mohan Reddy, Chairman of Nova ENT Hospital.

The inaugural ceremony featured Mrs. C. Rama Devi, Director–Coordination, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Hyderabad, Dr. Dwarakanath Reddy, Former President of IMA Telangana, and Dr. P. R. Sai Kumar, Senior ENT Specialist, as chief guests.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. M. Mohan Reddy emphasized the importance of identifying ear, nose, and throat problems at an early age, noting that neglecting such issues can adversely affect a child’s hearing, speech development, and learning ability. He added that wellness camps like these play a key role in raising awareness among parents and teachers about preventive care.

Mrs. C. Rama Devi highlighted the importance of parental vigilance and school-level health awareness, while Dr. Dwarakanath Reddy and Dr. Sai Kumar commended Nova ENT Hospital’s commitment to community healthcare. They also explained the growing incidence of snoring, adenoid, and tonsil-related complications in children.

As part of the wellness week, the hospital will provide free ENT and hearing tests for children, along with interactive awareness sessions for parents and teachers. The camp will continue until November 16.
